1792 Small Batch Bourbon has quickly gained popularity as a go to option under $30. The nose brings the usual vanilla and caramel notes but there are also some fruit notes and hints of cinnamon spice. Those same notes come through on the palate with a slight addition of orange peel. There is a fruitier, citrus-type note trying to push through, but it also drinks a little warmer than the proof would suggest. To me, the end result is some brighter tasting notes battling some darker tasting notes. This ends with a medium vanilla finish. Overall, at this price-point and the quality of bourbon in this bottle, it would be hard not to suggest it! I would highly recommend adding this as a staple in your bar. This may be ideal as your “daily sipper”.
